worked in the form of two monkeys climbing on a large peach borne on leafy flowering branches issuing flowers around the sides, one monkey perched on the large fruit, while the other grasps on a branch beside, the stone of an even celadon tone, wood stand

Condition
The carving is of very good condition with the exception of very minute nicks along the extremities (e.g. the edges of the leaves and branches). The stone is of a slightly more celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
