此類大型青釉瓷盤，光華瑩潤，屬十四世紀末，明代朝廷委託龍泉窰所造，尺寸巨碩，作陳設用，有光素無紋如同現例者，或模印、刻劃紋飾等。蔡玫芬，〈導論：國立故宮博物院藏明代龍泉窰青瓷〉，《碧綠．明代龍泉窰青瓷》，國立故宮博物院，台北，2009年，頁2-20，述及明初時期，景德鎮與龍泉窰均受命燒造官瓷。

浙江省處州龍泉官窰遺址出土一件相類大型青瓷盤，錄於葉英挺與華雨農，《發現．大明處州龍泉官窰》，杭州，2005年，頁254，圖版6。一件尺寸更大青釉盤售於紐約蘇富比1981年5月8日，編號254。香港佳士得1989年9月26日曾售一盤，出自 Charlotte Horstmann 舊藏，編號555。Cargill and Donna MacMillan 伉儷收藏一例，售於紐約佳士得2010年3月26日，編號1346。

造形相近但尺寸較小的龍泉青釉盤，如台北國立故宮博物院藏一盤，展出於《碧綠．明代龍泉窰青瓷》，前述出處，圖版41。一例錄於《溫溫玉色照瓷甌》，首都博物館，北京，2012年，圖版112。還有一盤載於《龍泉集芳．創業七十周年》，東京，1976年，卷1，圖版515，2015年4月7日售於香港蘇富比，編號3632。香港佳士得2007年5月29日曾售一盤，也可資比對，編號1478。
