(一)林處士探梅之圖用筆古秀，樹石位置井井有法，是書卷而佐六法非尋常畫工所能辨也。惜款字為裝潢家截去，以愚意度之。非吳小仙陳老蓮不能臻此妙境。識者當有辨也。中華胡鐵梅觀並跋。鈐印：「胡鐵梅」、「堯城子」
(二)此幅胡君鐵梅已鑑定，所惜印題被偽匠截去，筆法秀潤。非陳老蓮焉能有此妙境。無疑感也。辛巳十一月客信濃王鶴笙觀題。二印漫漶不辨
