于非闇 水仙蜂蝶

款識：
玉貌盈盈翠帶輕，凌波微步不生塵；
風流誰是陳思客，想像當年洛水人。別所先生博笑。非闇寫贈。

-Signs of restoration can be found near the leaves, where there appears to be paper loss previously. Light foxing can be found, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in good condition.

註：于非闇繪事之餘，對筆墨、顏料、以至紙張皆極為講究，選用者，多採自南紙店或文具舖特製，甚或出重金搜購內庫之物，如以兩計值，出廿金購造辦處之寶石紅。本幅壓角有「御製淳化軒刻畫宣」印記，乃乾隆內庫用紙，此紙為三層夾料，迎光視之，夾層紙縷空現水仙暗紋，其質細滑，易於書寫。非闇取之作水仙，蓋其花紋與筆下所繪類近，花葉方向恰呈相反之姿，故水仙兩株一明現、一隱約，虛實互應之效自生，足見其用料思量之巧、構圖之奇。上具「非闇藏楮」印，偶鈐於三十年代末至四十年代初之作品，可証下筆前選材之慎。

本幅無署年，按畫風、書體及鈐「非闇五十以後作」印，似畫家三十年代後期所出。另具「別所先生」上款，應為日人。北平淪陷，非闇滯留，礙於生計，掛名於偽政府教育總署，又擔任國立美術專科學校教席，一度「落水」。是時，日人於北京辦興亞高級中學，副董事長乃別所孝太郎，兩人同期任職於故都教育界，或有相遇相識，且作品與兩人活躍於教育界時間相若，贈畫一事，亦非悖理。
