款識：
〈一〉
墨痕別種洛陽花，仿佛墨雲似魏家。應是主人忘富貴，故將閒淡洗鉛華。然犀。

〈二〉
採蓮人已去，依舊暗香來。己丑八月。楚鳧。

〈三〉
濃拖斜照落東籬。奧道人句。楚錄之。

〈四〉
曉覺添霜白，寒疑借月開。己丑八月，來楚生。

〈五〉
大葉聳長耳，一梢堪滿盤。來楚生。

〈六〉
香浮笑語牙生水，涼入衣襟骨有風。來楚生錄元人句。

〈七〉
西風吹動錦斕班，曉起窺園露未乾。三日宿酲醒不得，正思風味到辛盤。負翁。

公孫大孃混脫舞。己丑秋仲，楚生。

註：來楚生雖由新式學校接受美術教育，然書畫篆刻純然文人傳統，本冊堪稱典型範例。前半全出水墨大寫意，綴以古人句，既有梅、菊、荷等文人畫慣用題材；亦涉白菜果品，上溯青藤、白陽、復堂，近接昌碩畫風；另西瓜一幀，則多出己意；後半以行書錄〈易經時序考〉，洋洋數百言，整冊鈐以自治朱印十餘種，可謂書、畫、印三絕。
