張大千 櫻桃

款識：
壬子端端，環蓽厂與吉眉共喫櫻桃，囑為寫之。予以目疾未全復，恐不能圓耳。吉眉曰：不用顧他圓與不圓。此語大有玄理，寫成因并記之。爰翁。

鈐印：「張大千長年大吉又日利」。

藏印：「眉先」。

上款：「吉眉」即羅寄梅（1902-1987），湖南長沙人，早歲入黃埔軍校，參加北伐後，轉任職於國民黨中央黨部宣傳部文藝處。復參與成立中國文藝社，與文化藝術界人士關係密切。一九三八年，加入中央日報任攝影部主任。曾赴敦煌從事石窟全面拍攝的工作。因上述種種機緣，與大千締結友誼，即彼此去國後，無論在台北或美國，交情垂數十載。

大千移居加州時，與羅氏往還頻繁，本幅即環蓽盦中兩人相聚，因共喫櫻桃而寫之，復以畫家筆下櫻桃「圓與不圓」而悟生哲理，自見弦外之意。題款曰「壬子端端」，恐為端午之誤，蓋同年六月初三日，大千再有冊頁十開贈之。畫上鈐「眉先」藏印，即羅吉眉、劉先伉儷各取一字而成。
