簡文舒舊藏張大千畫 （編號1260－1262）

簡文舒（1926-2010），廣東番禺人，出生於香港，乃著名書法篆刻家簡經綸六女。幼聰慧，九歲即在滬舉行畫展。簡氏府中座上客者，多文化藝術界知名之士，她得此良機，多承便請益，大千先生與她尤為投緣，四十年代中期收為弟子。

一九四九年，簡氏赴紐約學習西畫，亦曾留學巴黎。五二年與其同學蘇保羅（Paul Schwartz）結縭。在美國生活數十年間，創作不綴，多次舉行畫展，作品為各大美術館及文化機構收藏。曾獲美國藝術學院院士及英國藝術學院院士榮銜，並得美國國家藝術會頒贈「終生成就榮譽獎牌」。

註：大千先生作畫，每每因應紙張性質而下筆，本幅寫於其日本訂製之羅紋箋，以易得「水墨相發」之效果，遂以素墨簡筆寫萱花、竹葉、湖石，合「三清」之意。未署年，但謂「目障經歲」，似屬六十年代受困眼患，久治未全癒，在美國就診時，得簡文舒多方照顧，返八德園居所後，遂寫此寄贈。
