上款：「山笑」即鄺山笑（1909-1976），友輩暱稱「三哥」，廣東台山人，著名粵劇伶人及電影演員。
鄺氏在伶影事業享名甚隆，於香江書畫收藏界亦佔一席位。他三十年代已來港發展事業直至七十年代中逝世，與寓居此地的廣東藝壇名宿友誼最切，尤以嶺南畫派第二代為著，交誼往還頻繁，故藏品以粵籍同輩名家作品為主，獲寫贈作品量豐質精。。
