清乾隆 紫紅地洋彩軋道錦上添花纏枝番蓮紋盃連托 《大清乾隆年製》款

the cup delicately potted with deep sides resting on a straight foot, the exterior finely painted with four large floral blooms borne on stylised meandering scrolls, all reserved on a ruby-red ground further incised with fine sgraffiato feathered scrolls, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark, the saucer with shallow rounded sides rising to a wide everted rim picked out with florets and scrolls on a white ground, the interior centred with a countersunk well encircled by a raised ridge enclosing a gilt-decorated shou character roundel against a turquoise ground, the cavetto similarly decorated with floral blooms issuing from scrolling foliate stems, reserved on a ruby-red ground with sgraffiato feathered scrolls, the underside similarly decorated with prunus florets against a ruby-red sgraffiato ground, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark, wood stand

The cup has a tiny grounded flaw to the footrim. Its mouthrim is very slightly polished. The cupstand has an approx. 0.2 cm restored rim flake and another approx. 0.1 cm flake to the rim that is slightly repainted. The enamels of both the cup and cupstand have been well preserved with only some occasional loses and typical wear to the gilding.

胭脂紅軋道錦地上繪繁複纏枝蓮紋，此盃盤充分展現乾隆皇帝對華麗紋飾之好，亦可見此時景德鎮御窰瓷器燒製技藝之成熟至臻。此類複雜色地花紋使人聯想法國洛可可織物風格，此類法國織物樣範最早或經廣東商人及耶穌會傳教士引入清廷。

見一相類盃托例，為Bushell收藏，載於Cosmo Monkhouse，《A History and Description of Chinese Porcelain》，倫敦，1901年，圖44。另一稍小盃例，底書「寶嗇齋製」款，售於香港蘇富比1979年11月28日，編號236。

臺北故宮藏此類盃盤數例，紋飾造型略異，見一對葵花式盃盤例，托盤帶足，錄於《華麗彩瓷．乾隆洋彩》，國立故宮博物院，台北，2008年，編號9；同錄一對海棠式開光山水圖例，編號8；及同類紋飾之檸檬黃地盃盤一對，編號7。此類盃盤之雛形，見一雍正款胭脂紅地開光牡丹紋例，載《徐氏藝術館．陶瓷IV．清代》，徐氏藝術館，香港，頁157，後售於香港佳士得1999年4月29日，編號537。

器形稍大之胭脂紅地軋道纏枝蓮紋盃，直口臥足，可資比對。見一例，繪花開纏枝蓮紋，售於紐約佳士得1993年12月2日，編號344，後於香港蘇富比2007年4月8日，編號801。另一例，飾纏枝花卉，藏南京博物院，展於《清瓷萃珍：清代康雍乾官窰瓷器》，南京博物院，南京，1995年，編號94。

軋道工藝初見於乾隆年間景德鎮御窰廠，此技複雜耗時，為上品瓷器專用，其法亦俗稱「錦上添花」，是於單色地上以細針劃出毫芒般鳳尾狀紋，因其極難把控釉面平勻，遂多裝飾於小範圍邊緣處，甚少大面積採用。
