黃致陽是一位極為元化的藝術家，其紙本及絹本繪畫作品、雕塑及裝置藝術等均於國際藝術舞台上頻頻展出，亦被世界各國藏家廣為收藏。黃氏的《千靈顯》系列深受佛教與道教思想的影響，以微觀視角探索宇宙空間的浩瀚神秘。其將自然元素，如光、水、火、山、靈、秩序等，經過重組與建構、反复與堆疊，表現出空間的多元化。1 本幅《千靈顯‧山靈之九》以似火焰亦似水滴的符號為基本元素，對其進行排列與組合，形成山巒起伏，加之其尺幅之大，給觀者帶來強烈的視覺衝擊、韻律與動感。
