泰祥洲自2014年起展出極具個人風格的《天象》系列，而《宇宙》正是其中代表之作，畫中構圖和題材是藝術家師法傳統北宋及元代山水畫發展而成。在本作中，部分洞孔表面既似地上文人石，又似天空隕石。自古中國文人崇尚觀賞奇山怪石，好其自然天成、詭幻而不可測之狀，空靈自在宛如世外之物。文人石被視為大自然的微觀縮影，同時也是大千世界的一小部分。
泰祥洲對宇宙萬象十分入迷，著重建立廣博的宇宙觀及人與萬物間之連繫，相信兩者最終會帶動藝術進展。如宋元山水畫反映當時的天地觀一樣，泰氏致力在畫中展示現今世代對宇宙的全新認知。
