鄭潤慶一九八一年生於首爾，現生活於倫敦及首爾。鄭潤慶的作品融薈了東方哲學及西方抽象繪畫，呈現自然與文明、東方與西方之間的衝突。她的作品把東方傳統與新歌德建築風格相結合，其為人熟悉的題材包括樹葉、羽毛、魚鱗及盔甲。 鄭潤慶的作品雖可被視作風景畫，但更正確的理解是烏托邦的描繪。藝術家以重複作為手段，讓不規則的形狀及結構互相溶合，形成視覺幻覺。

鄭潤慶二〇〇六年畢業自梨花女子大學，及後前往倫敦深造。她二〇〇八年於Slade藝術學院取得碩士學位，並且於二〇〇九成為倫敦大學Goldsmiths學院的助理研究學員。鄭潤慶取得無數國際獎項，包括英國Mall藝廊的線針獎、西班牙的Guasch Coranty 國際繪畫獎及韓國的松巖基金會獎。她的作品曾於首爾及倫敦展出，並於二〇一五年於首爾的In-Sync及Koo畫廊展出及二〇一三年於倫敦的The Arcadian State展出。
