of flattened circular form with a pair of phoenix handles, moulded on each side with a central shou character encircled by five bats, surrounded by dense leafy floral scrolls, covered overall with a smooth white glaze

The moonflask is in overall good condition. There are a few original firing flaws showing on the interior or expected body lines. There is a small gap in the glaze and minute brown spot to one side.
