sturdily potted with tapered sides, decorated around the exterior with two iron-red five-clawed dragons chasing a 'flaming pearl', between pale blue and yellow borders of upright petals and pendent ruyi encircling the base and rim, the base glazed white and pierced with a hole for drainage

The jardinière is in overall good condition. There is some surface wear to the top of the rim and typical firing impurities in the glaze. There is some rubbing to the overglaze iron-red, predominantly to one of the two dragons but overall these have been very well preserved
