the rectangular body with projecting tubular corners, flanked by mythical beast-head handles, each suspending a loose ring, carved around the exterior with chilong and pendent lappets in low relief, all below a keyfret band at the rim, the cover of conforming shape with a raised chilong roundel at each corner, the base incised with an apocryphal Daqing Qianlong fanggu mark

Generally in good condition with a little expected pitting to the surface.
