The cover of the yilizhu teapot has two flakes, the larger one of approx. 1.2 cm, each adjacent to a related hairline crack. Both teapots are otherwise in overall good condition.

鄭寧侯，浙江桐鄉人，明天啟至清康熙年間紫砂藝者，製壺摹古器，兼工書法，所成者，胎薄而質堅，工整有樣。

陸思亭，清初紫砂大家，尤精梨式壺器，名臻雲海之遙，故後世賦名，謂之「思亭壺」。
