the body of tapered ovoid shape and surmounted by a tall slender neck and flared mouthrim, the body decorated on one side with a boy riding astride a buffalo, the reverse with an inscription signed Wang Qi and followed by two iron-red seal marks reading Xichang Wang Qi and taozhai respectively, the countersunk base with a further seal mark reading taotaozhai
Condition
The vase is in overall good condition. There is a small kiln flake to the footring.
