The jade plaque mounted as a blotter and not inspected outside of its mount. The jade with minute chips and nicks to the edges and extremities of carving. A small area of loss to the openwork to the left central area, beneath the dragon's tail, measuring approximately 0.4 by 0.5 cm. The rectangular blotter: the agate panels all in good condition. The blotter with wear to the leather and gilt metal mounts, and a small area of staining and tear to the paper.
