拍品資料及來源
A FINE SET OF PAINTINGS, portraying eighteenth and nineteenth century paraphernalia of war. "Each sheet of paper artfully arrays a selection of military equipment. The panoply includes many types of weapons and related equipment: swords, pole arms, flails, bows, arrows, a cannon, firearms, quivers, a powderhorn, ramrods, and barrels of shot and gunpowder. Standards, a drum, a screen, uniforms, hats, and a regional commander's helmet (zongbing kui) also appear. The paintings detail the elaborate decoration of many of the weapons, and they also reveal the pervasive use of auspicious tiger imagery in equipment of the day" (All Under Heaven).
