This work is in very good condition overall. The right edge of the paper is not perfectly straight. presumably inherent to the artist's working method. Laid down on the backing board. Framed under Plexiglas.

「我拿出了睡衣，還有其他平常儲存起來的奇怪物件，縱使我不知道有什麼時候用得上它們。之後，我在網上找尋小丑的照片，才發現任何東西都可以用，任何一件衣服，T恤、牛仔褲，就成了個小丑。我還有幾頂彩色假髮，以前拍照從未用過。很多東西，因為有了小丑這個意念，忽然間就變得合理了。我一直在掙扎，尤其是9/11之後；我不知道自己還想說什麼。我希望作品仍是這樣混合——強烈，有下流或者醜陋的一面，但角色同時帶有真切的情感——[小丑]引人發笑，但底子裡有所感傷。小丑是傷心的，但亦瘋狂、歇斯底里地快樂。」
