Condition
This work is in very good condition. There is a 1 mm long paint loss located 6.4 cm from the lower edge and 6,8 cm from the left edge. There is a very light 1,5 mm long dent on the lower edge of the board. Under UV light examination, there are scattered minor touch ups along the four edges of the work.

趙無極在巴黎各個文藝圈子廣結良朋,更計劃到各地旅遊拓展視野。他在1951年到瑞士遊歷,終有機會親身探索保羅·克利基金會的大型收藏,這不但為他帶來深遠影響,也促使他歸根溯源,為畫作尋找靈感。
《無題》為藝術家到訪意大利當年創作,摒棄西方藝術的線性透視法,著重以特定距離從上觀察景象,描繪沐浴在光線中的不同景物,如詩如畫。畫中的山、林、鹿與人物巧妙交疊,互相貫穿,展現趙無極揉合中式構圖與西方媒材的革新創作方法。粉色在藝術家的作品非常鮮見,在此背景色調中,當空半月散發閃爍藍光,營造出神秘優美的氛圍。一如傳統中國畫家,趙無極把意大利旅程中的精神、個人感受與情緒注入《無題》,而非單單描繪所見事物的實際面貌。與此同時,他純熟細緻地在畫幅邊緣留白,此為中國山水畫傳統手法,為作品更添一抹夢幻與喜悅。
