身兼著名歌手、藝術家、紀錄片製作人、慈善家、聯合國親善大使及社會企業家,朱哲琴在2012年創立「看見造物」,致力推廣受中國傳統工藝啟發的當代設計作品。身為藝術總監,她聯手與居於雅典的建築師盧志榮和設計公司「Infrastructure」創意總監羅斯·厄溫合作,主要以振興中國傳統手工藝為目標,同時協助扶持此古老技藝傳承人所在的社區發展。朱哲琴表示:『這個品牌更像是一個平台,使工藝師傅和當代設計師們團結在一起。』為了確保傳統技藝能生存延續,「看見造物」更捐出其利潤的百分之十給予「1+5 傳承計畫」,提供民間的工藝師傅們資金以培養新一代的年輕藝術家。
