- Bronze, cloisonné enamel
reposant sur trois petits pieds, la panse globulaire entièrement décorée de rinceaux feuillagés et lotus de couleur jaune, rouge, turquoise et aubergine sur fond turquoise, les bordures agrémentées de petites nuages, petits accidents
Condition
A ca. 12cm wide bruised and partially filled-in area on the body on one of the censer with associated losses and scratches to the enamels. A second, ca. 2cm wide area of bruising and loss to the enamels on another part of the censer. Overall pitting to the enamels, particularly around the rim. The gilding worn. The enamels are brighter than the catalogue illustration suggests.
