assis en vajrasana sur une double base lotiforme, la main gauche portant un bol, la main droite tenant une noix d'arura, vêtu d'une robe monastique aux plis finement ciselés découvrant l'épaule droite, les sourcils arqués encadrant l'urna, le nez aquilin, la bouche souriante, les lobes d'oreilles pendants, les cheveux coiffés en petites boucles, l'ushnisha surmontée d'un bouton de lotus, belle patine dorée, scellée

Condition

The figure is heavily cast, the base sealed. There is overall wear to the gilding, particularly to the back of the figure. There are two ca. 2cm and 4cm wide parts to the rim of the base on the back of the figure where a casting flaw has been filled in and consistent with the time of the casting. The metal is of a more golden tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
