The bodhisattva is in good condition with the exception of a slight lean to the right, minor pitting due to burial and small areas of malachite and cuprite encrustation to the front and back, and scratches and rubbing to the gilded decoration particularly around the base.

此品屬一組獨特銅鎏金菩薩立像，身披古希臘式笈多時期風格通肩大衣，衣紋細長，衣摺自兩肩垂至雙腿。參考四尊相類北魏銅像，斷代482至500年間，錄於松原三郎，《中国仏敎彫刻史論》，東京，1995年，卷1，圖版77，編號a，c，f；另一作例，紀年太和八年（公元484年），山東博興縣出土，現為博興縣博物館收藏，錄於季崇建，《金銅佛像》，台北，1994年，圖版40。
