the rectangular detachable top comprised of three floating panels within a mitered, mortised and tenoned frame, supported on the underside by two transverse stretchers, above two pedestals each having a pair of drawers, supported on square-section legs joined by interlocking openwork stretchers (3)
Condition
The desk is in overall good condition. There is slight shrinkage to the top floating panel. There is a filled repair to a 'knot' on one side. The drawer interiors are of soft wood, one of which is split. The surface with expected wear.
