Condition
Work not examined out of frame. Oil on canvas, canvas is not lined. The surface is in good condition with faint surface dust. There are a few, almost imperceptible, areas of craquelure in the background and on the table. Colors are bright and fresh, particularly the reds. There is a small area of restoration visible to the naked eye in the lower quadrant to the right of the flower in the foreground approximately 3 cm in width. Under UV light, there is inpainting and a repaired area addressing the aforementioned repair. There are dots and dashes of inpainting scattered throughout. There is a varnish which fluoresces green throughout. The work presents well and is ready to hang.
