the interior painted with eight shou characters radiating from a central shou roundel, the exterior with further stylized shou characters borne on interlinked scrollwork, all below a line of C-scrolls and dots at the rim, the base with a six-character seal mark 

There is an approximately 1 cm by 1.5 cm chip to the rim, with an associated crack measuring approximately 2.7 cm. There is an approximately 5.3 cm hairline crack through the rim, together with an approximately 2.8 cm Y-shaped hairline crack next to it. The exterior with a small glaze bump just above the foot. The foot with a 0.5 cm bruise. Minor surface wear and firing imperfections.
