There is wear to the gil-lacquer and pigment. There is a repaired break to the figure's right sleeve. There is a 3/4 in (2 cm) long area of loss to to the foot rim and two small holes behind the foot on the figure's left. There is a loss to a section of the whiskers on the figure's left cheek, and a small loss to a section of the mustache. there are minor minor around the foot rim, minor surface indentations on the rear and other signs of age-appropriate wear.
