There are two old repaired cracks along the edge of the base, an old patch on the right shoulder visible on the interior and a shallow dent to the left shoulder. There are three small holes in the fold of the right sleeve, and two small holes in the figure's lap. In addition, there are the minor nicks and surface wear expected from pieces of this age and type. The figure is the cover of a censer.
