Overall good condition. As visible in the catalogue photo, there are typical age cracks‎, the most prominent of which are two age cracks from the foot, both of approx 2cm. Minute chips to the feet. General surface wear.

筆筒所雕「竹林七賢」，屬古之常見題材，瓷、玉、畫等各作皆有。魏晉之初，有賢者七人，廉隅自重，潔身清好，憤世而棄官，相邀竹林，靜心修道，或推盃屬酒，或吟詩賞文，大起清談之風，時而歡喜，時而悲泣，以灑脫不羈，笑對須臾浮生。
