There are minute chips to the extremities, and two minor age cracks to the rim, but overall good condition.

此筆筒，高起浮雕，蒼松環繞，雕工精細，製作自然，見嘉定三朱竹雕之刀韻。朱氏三門，皆為竹雕妙手，明之大家，創嘉定竹派，聲名遠揚。可參考一鶴紋筆筒例，朱鶴所製，藏南京博物院，錄海波，《竹木牙角器珍賞》，台南，1995年，圖版30。

筆筒雕飾，寓意祥瑞，屬文人之雅物。松者，蒼勁堅毅，傲雪長青，與鶴同示，喻祝「松鶴長春」。置之於案頭，閒來賞玩，實為清心、怡情之佳品。
