skilfully carved in the round as Pindola sitting astride a tiger whilst forcefully taming the beast with his hands pressed onto its head, the beast standing foursquare in an alert and threatening pose with its mouth open revealing its teeth, its bulging eyes and ferocious expression meticulously picked out, the figure with a broad brimmed hat slung over his shoulders and dressed in loose robes cascading in folds over the beast's body, the patina of a warm honey-brown colour
