愛彼於2008年推出「Royal Oak Carbon Concept」，為首枚錶殼及機芯皆以鍛造碳為材質的腕錶。鍛造碳錶殼的碳纖維物料不經傳統組裝工序，完整錶殼在特製鑄模內以240度高溫下及每平方厘米7.5噸壓力加壓鑄造而成。除錶殼及錶圈外，愛彼進一步運用鍛造碳於其他腕錶組件如手動機芯的底板，至於中層橋板則利用綠色陽極去氧化鋁製成。
