Condition
The canvas is lined, the paint surface is stable and the varnish is clear and even. There are no major damages visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals retouchings along a seam which runs vertically down the canvas. There are scattered retouchings throughout, particularly in the hands and face of the donor, lower left, the face of the Virgin, and in the left side of the angel's face, upper left.
