the compressed globular body rising from three splayed feet to a short neck with a wide everted lipped rim, the bronze patinated to a deep brown, the underside cast with an apocryphal Xuande mark within a rectangle

Condition
In good general condition, with numerous small nicks and shallow dents to the bronze surface, as expected of material of this period. Several deep scratches to the underside of all three feet, and some encrustation around the mark. The bronze richly patinated to a variegated silvery-brown. The base may have been lightly polished.
