Silence seeps slowly
Fine sand between pebbles
Breathing in the misty air
All along the water’s edge
I sit upon the floor in the dark of night
Pondering the magnificence of Your command
Birds of flight are in slumber
Leaves fall scattered like fragments of stone
Who would be born at such a time as this?
When even a sea of duckweeds flourish at forest peaks
And mountains grow beneath the earth’s crust
Silence seeps eternally in Your sky
