在《銅鑼灣童話》中，龐均遙望的則是川流不息的香港銅鑼灣城市景觀。他對香港有著深厚的情感，曾多次於香港寫生。龐均十三歲考入杭州藝專，後入讀北京中央美術學院，八○年代舉家遷往香港，曾任香港中文大學美術系教師，至1987年移居台灣。在《銅鑼灣童話》中，龐均將眼中節比鱗次的高樓景觀，堆砌至畫幅頂端，如同中國繪畫中的「高遠」構圖，為都市高樓帶來生動的詮釋。而前景的銅鑼灣球場，則為緊湊繁忙的畫面，注入一絲綠意和輕鬆氣息。
