The two works are in very good condition. Male Panda: Very light scattered white adhesive accretion across the service of the work, primarily near the panda's right knee. Female Panda: There is a scratch near her tail. There is evidence of very minor scattered adhesive accretions at the bottom of the work, only visible under very close examination. There is a very light scratch near her right knee.

並非科班出身的洪易在三十歲那年，因偶然的機會成為了「20號倉庫——鐵道藝術網站台中站」的駐場藝術家，隨後便毅然走向了藝術創作這條路。也正因為拋開了傳統體制的條框架，他的創作靈感完全采風於他的周遭環境和日常百態，富有醇厚的人情味和親和力。洪易從社會寫實風格的平面繪畫起步，表達對塵世生活的觀察。從2004年開始，他的重心轉向了公共雕塑的實踐，把「藝術生活化」的理想揉合於立體造形之中。他擅長將花樣色彩的趣味圖案，滿溢覆蓋在簡化的形體上，其作品散發出充滿活力的幽默與歡樂成為了洪易的特色風格，而《團團圓圓》恰屬於這個時期的標誌性創作代表。

藝術家認為動物與人類是共生共存的好朋友，外型討喜並能吸引觀眾接近，因此常以誇張逗趣的動物形態示人，加以大膽熱烈的彩繪表現，賦予全新的註釋。《團團圓圓》以大陸相贈台灣的國寶為創作原型，色彩熱情奔放，線條圓潤流暢，加上「蓮花魚樂」、「竹報平安」等豐富的民俗文化圖騰，給觀者帶來視覺的美感以及心靈的喜悅和憧憬。以「團團圓圓」為名，不僅取其吉祥美意，更是兩岸友好交流的象徵，凸顯了洪易傳播藝術社會價值的使命感。
