此案屏造型優美，抱鼓式墩子，兩邊抵夾着合併成像葫蘆形站牙。斜裝的披水牙子鎪出優美的壺門輪廓，微向外傾。魚門洞開光縧環板，屏心大理石帶抽象山水雲紋。

Condition
There is typical surface wear and bruising to the fragile extremities, as expected through its use in a domestic setting over the centuries. As visible in the catalogue photo, there are bruises to the bottom right and a crack to top left corner and the lower right of the marble.

「論案屏，觀所嵌大理石紋理，若如此彷彿墨繪山水者，下承佳座，煥文人典風者，逸品也。」
案屏除了體積小，適合放置於桌案上之外，與大型座屏的構造沒有兩樣。案屏有插屏式，又有與底座相連，而不是可裝可卸的插屏式。這具抱鼓墩子鑲大理石的連座案屏，就正如常見於明代書籍插圖版畫內大座屏的縮影。在《金瓶梅》「薛媒婆說娶孟三兒」一回的插圖中，可見一件與之十分相似的大理石案屏。另可參考伍嘉恩，《選中之選：明式家具集珍》，嘉木堂，香港，2011年，頁12-15載錄之大理石連座案屏，其大小與此相若，可資對比。
