- huanghuali (Dalbergia odorifera)
几面為標準格角榫攢邊打槽平鑲獨板癭木面心，下裝二根穿帶加一橫托帶交叉支承。用木釘加固。邊抹冰盤沿自中上部內縮至底壓窄平線。束腰與沿邊起線的素面直牙條一木連做，以抱肩榫與輕微外斜的腿足結合，下展至底收形狀挺拔有力馬蹄足。牙條上的闊邊線連接延續至腿足。足底出榫納入托泥。几面底部原來的漆灰、糊織物與漆裹，保存良好。

In overall good condition, with just minor surface wear and tear to the fragile exterior, especially the tips of the legs. The clay, ramie, and lacquer undercoating is almost completely intact.

「帶托泥之家具，漆例雖多，硬木極罕，此香几且屢經展覽，殊為珍稀。」
傳世明代香几甚稀，形制有方形、長方形、八角形，圓形或各樣的花葉形。高濂1591年編撰的《遵生八牋》中述及香几用途，包括陳設奇石、盆栽、花瓶或香爐。明代書籍版畫插圖中也見香几被置於戶外祭祀使用。
此香几造型優美，沿邊起線。面心板葡萄紋癭木，四腿足輕微外撇，以挺拔內翻馬蹄足結束，下踩托泥。
比利時侶明室舊藏有一具十分相似但造型較纖秀的例子，可予參考，載錄於伍嘉恩，《永恆的明式家具》，嘉木堂，香港，2006年，頁114-115。
