- huanghuali (Dalbergia odorifera)
長方形框用兩帶連接成底座。在短邊上豎立柱，兩旁有站牙抵夾。站牙透雕螭龍紋，與黃楊木螭龍相呼應。立柱上接羅鍋形橫樑。構件相交處均嵌鑲銅頁加固。上一撞口內設平盤。盒蓋兩側立牆正中打眼，立柱與此眼相對處也打眼，用銅條貫穿。

「提盒提盒，何其之多，然嵌飾古典夔龍者，則僅此一器，哪可多得？」
此類多撞提盒設計源自食格類器物。為了便於攜帶，食格多用竹或較輕的柴木製成。明代畫作及小說版畫插圖也常有描繪外遊時侍從挑食格的情景。現例製作精良，用木質細密堅實的黃花梨木造，設計如一般食格，看面更滿鑲嵌黃楊木螭龍紋，其用途已演變成儲藏珍貴物品之器具。
由於下撞盒底坐落入底座槽口中，每層又均有子口銜扣，銅條貫穿後提盒就被固定。銅條端小孔上如再加銅鎖，整件兩撞提盒就被鎖上，不能開啟，這裝置頗能引證此提盒用途為儲藏珍貴物品。傳世黃花梨兩撞提盒非罕，但華麗如此，鑲嵌雕螭龍紋黃楊木者，則乃孤例。
