拍品資料及來源

This painting is a smaller version of a lost still life that Oudry recorded in two inventories of the contents of his studio which he drew up between 1732-35. A considerably larger, unsigned variant, in upright format and arched at the top, was formerly in the Château du Verderonne, near Liancourt, and is now in the Dayton Art Institute, Dayton, Ohio.An unsigned studio copy was included in a sale in Paris, Nouveau Drouot, 17 June 1983, lot 12.
