In good condition, particularly given the piece's age. The moonstones present a light violet blue adularescence, with the top moonstone displaying a significant crack that runs across the center of the stone. The diamonds are near-colorless and decorative in quality. The calibré-cut onyx and enamel displays some scratching, nicking and very minor damage to one or two examples, but are in overall good condition and intact. The off-round and button-shaped pearls have a silvery white to creamy white body color with soft green and rose overtones, good luster and minor blemishing mainly in the form of pitting. Length of lapel-watch approximately 5 inches. Dial with Arabic numeral indicators and blued steel hands, and movement not presently running. A referral to return the movement to working order can be provided by Sotheby's to the purchaser of this lot. Please note the pearls have not been tested for natural origin. Please note the important notice on page 221 of the printed catalogue regarding the condition of watches. Please note that the pearl on the stem of the watch has become detached and will be repaired for the purchaser.
