In fair to good condition. The gold exhibits some very minor discoloration and evidence of wear commensurate with age. The aventurine quartz beads are medium slightly grayish green with moderate aventuresence. The ruby segments are medium purplish red, opaque and very heavily included, they are decorative quality rather than gem-quality. The two cylindrical ruby spacers and the fluted ruby segment show significant chipping to their edges. The cabochon ruby exhibits significant surface reaching fractures, but the stone remains stable. The jade segments are tansluscent, light green with darker mottling and minor chipping at the ends where the segments are joined to the gold with glue. Accompanied by a photocopy of a letter from Seaman Schepps.
