Colour and Clarity: According to the GIA report, the diamond is natural, fancy vivid yellow colour, VS2 clarity, and diamond classification report stating that the diamond is a type Ia diamond. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the impressive fancy vivid yellow diamond is of an even saturated vivid golden yellow colour, fine brilliance. The two heart-shaped diamonds are about E colours, VS1 and VS2 clarity. The smaller round diamonds are probably of E-F colours, VS clarity as well. Signed DeFRED and stamped 750 for 18 karat gold. Condition: Ring mount detachable to form pendant. In very good condition.

跟據十七世紀法國旅行家及珠寶商人讓·塔維奈爾(Jean-Baptiste Tavernier)的記載，重要的黃色鑽石很早已在歷史中找到立足之地；他就曾以「檸檬黃色」來形容一顆重137.27卡拉的巨型黃鑽。這顆美鑽原為托斯卡納大公Ferdinando II de’Medici所擁有，塔維奈爾有幸於1657年到訪時一睹此巨鑽的迷人色彩。此黃鑽本身就出處不凡，相信是來自於印度皇室，其後又一度由美特奇家族收藏，在輾轉流傳的過程中多次更換其名字 ── the Tuscan, the Grand Duke of Tuscany, the Austrian Diamond 以及「弗倫提那」(The Florentine Diamond)都是此黃鑽的別名。
