Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Testing Certificate, the jadeite "eggplant" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite pendant is highly translucent to almost semi-transparent, of intense emerald green colour. Upon transmitted illumination, there are cloud inclusions, but not noticeable in normal lighting. This jadeite pendant has a very charm glow even under normal lighting, very rare quality in gem jadeite. Yellow diamond in the surmount weighing approximately 0.60 carat, is of intense saturation, SI clarity. Other tiny diamonds are about G to H colours, VS clarity. Condition: Karat white and yellow gold mount, in very good condition.

翠色欲滴
這枚翡翠「茄子」瞥眼看來最懾人之處莫過於它的通透度，亦即所謂的「水份」。寶石學家認為翡翠的通透度跟它的「質」有著密切的關係，而「質」本身是指翡翠內互相緊扣的微小結晶體有多幼細，之間的結構有多緊密。簡單來說，晶體顆粒越幼細緊密，翡翠的通透度就越高。可是有這些晶體也會吸收光源，所以翡翠越厚，通透度就會越低。因此，既厚又透的翡翠確是難得一見。這枚厚度超過1公分的翡翠「茄子」竟然如此晶瑩剔透、翠色欲滴，不但算得上是大自然中的珍寶，更要多得工匠在切割和打磨兩方面的超卓技藝。此外，因為茄子形狀長長瘦瘦，所以有「長壽」的寓意，也因為「茄子」跟「愜意」諧音，亦帶有「幸福美滿」的祝福。這個翡翠茄子的顏色均勻、不濃不淡，散發醇厚柔和的翠綠光芒，加上如此美好的寓意，定必叫所有翡翠鑑賞家為之傾心。
