of oval form, the compressed globular body rising from a flat base to rounded shoulders with two hinged arched handles folding to either side of the short raised mouthrim, the well-fitted domed cover intricately pierced with a diapered ground of florettes and quatrefoil motifs, the patina of an attractive warm copper brown colour

There are four minor dents on the edges of the flat base. The pierced cover with a lightly dented area. With occasional pitting and surface wear consistent with age.
