of archaistic fanghu form, cast with a baluster body rising from a splayed galleried foot to broad shoulders and a short galleried mouthrim, the exterior intricately inlaid in silver with three main registers, the first around the neck with a key-fret band, the second with four taotie masks, all above the third with archaistic motifs, the shoulders flanked by a pair of mythical beast mask loop handles, the base inlaid with a two-character Shisou mark, the patina of a warm brown colour

Condition
The vase is in overall good condition except for expected minor nicks to the extremities, as well as typical surface wear and scratches to the surface as consistent with age.
