finely modelled standing on a rock base, draped in a loose robe slipping down from his shoulder and opening at the chest revealing his emaciated torso, holding an attribute in his hands, now missing, the large tonsured head with a protruding bulge and fine wrinkles in front, the face with fine features set in joyful expression, the bronze patinated to a rich coppery brown colour

The attribute the luohan was originally holding in his hand, possibly a pole, is now missing. The tip end of his right thumb and of the fingers of his left hand are chipped. There are a few small cracks in the cast to the edge of the rocky base. There is some occasional pitting and surface wear to the surface, all consistent with age.
